Welcome (Karibu) to our Home

Bien - in French and Spanish means good or well and Moyo - in Swahili means heart or soul. Collectively "Bienmoyo" symbolizes "good heartedness" or "having a good soul".

Bienmoyo is founded on the belief that people are naturally connected through ordinary and everyday acts of kindness and philanthropy. It is through these everyday acts of kindness that are generously offered by volunteering for community service, donating products or gifts, or engaging in personal storytelling that make our own lives extraordinary.

In 2012, Bienmoyo Foundation produced a Swahili song to educate children, parents, and teachers about the dangers of Rheumatic Heart Disease. This song was produced as an outreach component of a broader program in which we screened more than 7000 primary school children in the Manyara and Arusha regions of Tanzania.

What we do

Bienmoyo creates opportunities for public private partnerships to impact, extend, and strengthen health care through the deployment of innovative technologies and service delivery programs. We stress roll up the sleeves action to save lives and improve quality of life.
